Gratitude Day 2 ~ 5 Days of Give Aways

pondautumn copy

Hello and Happiest Tuesday,

Oh my word, I am truly overwhelmed by the response to yesterday’s give away.  I wish you all could win!!  ‘sigh’

So today I have another give away to share!

Before I share the give away details…

Above is a pic from the trail.  One of the ponds that Ben has fallen in love with! He insist on double dipping everyday..and sometimes triple...  Sophie goes in too, but like a lady, she just stands there pretty… Ben on the other hand just has to lay down and get all good and wet…and sometimes a little slimy as well.  :)

Here they are, after a little dip. :) Playing with a stick.. :) Soggy and all…so cute!

benandsophiewet

Okay, I’m babbling.  Time for the give away details!!

Today I am offering up 3 four-month spots in my new membership site- The Test Kitchen.  If you are not sure what the Test Kitchen is…. it’s actually The Photoshop Test Kitchen.  A membership site where I am sharing Photoshop recipes, tutorials, tips & tricks…along with textures and other good stuff.  I also have friends popping into share their good stuff as well.  I’m super excited about today’s guest…  ‘sigh’

So, here’s how you can play along.

Enter yourself or a friend (simple note about the friend part is fine).  But here’s what I’d like you to share.  Please name the one ‘thing’ you are most grateful for, today.  And by thing, I mean, someone, someones, or something… :)

I can’t wait to read your comments.

Okey doke.  I must sign off. Ben & I have a morning date with Sophie and her Mama….

oh, p.s. a few people asked about what breed the pups were.  Sophie is a Labradoodle…and very much doodle as in poodle… She has the loveliest coat…barely sheds… She’s a big girl, as you can see by the pic.  She’s my brother’s dog.  Ben is a goldendoodle and vey much golden…as in golden retriever.  He sheds like mad…but we love him anyway…haha… He’s been with us for about 3 weeks. It was love at first site for all of us. Both pups were adopted from different families in the city… and both pups are in LOVE with the country life….  ‘sigh’  Before I sign of, I’m going to put Ben & Sophie at the top of my gratitude list today…..

xxo,

It is so hard to think of just one thing I am thankful for, but if I had to narrow it down, (other than God of course!) I would say I am thankful for my husband, Larry. He loves me with such gentleness and he has always supported my photography no matter what. I could go on and on about him. I adore being his wife.

I'm grateful for the incredible, breathtaking progress my daughter has made over the past few years. She didn't have an easy road to walk but as I watched her at her seventh birthday party yesterday, surrounded by friends and excitedly and enthusiastically participating in all the chaos my heart nearly stopped from the sheer magnitude of it all. What I would have given to have shown that moment to myself a few years ago, to know that it would all turn out alright...

I am grateful to God for giving me the Mom I had. She is gone to heaven now but there hasn't been a day in the past 8 years that I haven't heard her voice guiding me. When I come upon something that I feel is impossible, some wise words that she had told me all those years before comes to me and I find a solution. I think of her every day and miss her terribly.

Only a half hour ago I came out of the
post office into the crisp fall air, looked
up at the bright blue skies, puffy white
clouds and colorful trees and whispered
gratitude under my breath for the gift
of F R E E D O M.....Freedom to move
easily from place to place, to have choices
and to not live in a country that is full
of oppression. Thank you for this wonderful
giveaway; I have already learned so much
this week through the Skinny; you are
a great teacher!!

Today I am VERY thankful. I am in Texas visiting my husband whom I don't get to see much due to him being in the Army. I get to spend 8 days with him before he deploys to Afghanistan for a year. I am thankful for this time I was blessed with--spending it with this wonderful, selfless, most caring man I married only month ago!! :)

At the top of my gratitude list today: my sweet hubby. He is the only family that I have here in Scotland (we moved here from Italy about two years ago). He is my best friend and he is always super supportive, caring and understanding. He will follow the Skinny-Mini eCourse with me :) How great is that? BTW, we are behind already *gosh* 'cos we had friends visiting, but will start tomorrow for sure. Thanks again for being so generous :)
Good night and sweet dreams :)

I am grateful today for Joy. When I find it or it finds me, I try to stay in the moment and let it surround me with its grace.

October 19, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterKaren

I was just thinking how grateful I am to live in a place where life seems fairly simple and yet fairly deep, where we can walk out onto the headland and our dogs can run free. I like that, a lot. I like seeing so much sky and so much ocean, rocks, seaweed, and the occasional whale.

And I'd be ever so grateful, if I were picked to receive free weeks in the kitchen which I love!

Today I am grateful for my beautiful baby girl. It is her third birthday today. And the hubby & I took her out for a special afternoon of yummy cupcakes & playground fun. She came into this world in a whirlwind three years ago. My blood pressure shot sky high & they had to do an emergency c-section. In the end all was well, but for a few hours that day it was quite scary. Now I see that beautiful face, hear that sweet voice & devour her melf-on-you-like-butter hugs. She is a precious gift!! =]

Today I am truely grateful that my bubba boy is only two weeks and about 10 hours from making an entrance into the world. Of course, I cannot wait to meet my Little Man, but my pain is at such a point that I wouldn't get through the day if I couldn't look to the 4th and know it's almost over!
Thank you for the awesome opportunity to enter :)

This is a tough week to think of something I am grateful for as five years ago on the 16th of October my son died in his sleep. he was 24 years old. changes a mom forever where somedays you even wonder if there is anything to be thnakful for. but I am thankful to my two daughters as without them in my life, i am not sure i would be here 5 yearslater. You live for your children and through their incredible zest for life, I have chosen to live. I want to live more, i want to create ... I want to create something in honor of my son. I am thankful for the 24 years I had with my son. I would do it all over again.
