Thank you all so much for the kind notes of sympathy on the passing of my Aunite Marg....

and for all the tips on Mr. Ben....  They are truly appreciated!!

We are going to introduce a crate after this week is over.... for tonight we will confine the little munchkin to the entrance.... with a frozen kong, his bed and my shorts...  no idea why....but he drags them out everytime.... haha...

I am so looking forward to routine...and solitude... I cherish both.... very much!!

I have lots to share with you all...later this week!!  Good stuff....

In the meantime...I had to share just a few more pics of Ben and his cousin Sophie.... Oh my gosh, they make me smile.....  'sigh'

Until next time..... xxo, kim

Love the doggie pix and the snow scenes. We don't get snow here in L.A. except in the higher eleveations, so the dogs playing in snow brings back nice memories of my childhood in the Midwest.
God bless you.

Oops! My last post should read "elevations", since I don't see any way to edit it. :-)

Dear Kim, I'm so sorry for the recent sadness in your life and extend my condolences on the passing of your beloved Aunt Marg. I love the pics of your doggies. I recently read the post in tribute to Andy, and I was sobbing by the time I reached the end. That photo of him looking back at you - so heart-wrenching and at the same time so beautiful. How blessed you are to have found a new buddy, and a beauty he is. With lots of love he will behave. All he's saying is "I miss you when you're gone." As an energy-worker, I recommend a Reiki treatment for him if his acting out continues. The gentle, healing energy might settle him right down. All the best to you and yours, and I look forward to Every Day Ben!

Again, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful textures with us, even in your sadness you continue to share. I know the sadness you are feeling, I lost my Mother just 2 1/2 weeks ago and the loss I feel is sometimes unbearable. Our pets give us a lot of happiness and unconditional love however we are feeling, happy or sad. Thanks again for sharing your talents and your inspiration with us all. God bless.

Hi Kim,
Seems a lot of people are catching up here like myself, I havn't been around either so I did not know about your aunt and I am so sorry to hear that she passed.
I love my solitude too :)

Kim, I missed the post about Ben's acting out, but rest assured it will likely pass as he matures. He is, after all, still a puppy. My labs stayed puppies for about 2 1/2 years! My older one, Quest, was a terror when he was still young. In fact, one day while I was gone he tore up my camera bag and chewed up the lenses and other accessories, plus the camera case which was on the camera. Another time he chewed up ONE of 3 pairs of shoes. But, after a while, he became so good people would comment on how hard I must have worked with him. Truth be known, I did very little other than consistency. He became the dream dog! Perfect strangers fell in love with him. You just have to weather that puppy stage. With my current lab, we made sure she had lots of indoor toys to take care of some of that boredom and outdoor running to dissipate all that energy. She's turning into such a sweetie now, at 3 years.
Sorry this became so long, Just want to offer some encouragement because our pets can become our best friends and will return your love many times over.
A comment on the texture: since I'm a newcomer to your sites and textures, do you have an example of something you've used the Must Have Light collection? I have the iMac collection, and, I think, the original paper collection. But I can't imagine how to use or what the "light" offerings would look like. Thanks!
