reflection
this sunday morning, brings quiet time for 'reflection'.
john was out on an ambulance call in the wee hours of the morning so he's catching some rest now.
bryce stayed at his brothers.
it's just me and andy. and he is peacefully snoring on the couch.
(andy is my beagle)
(andy is my beagle)
the sound always brings me comfort.
this morning i ponder what is and what is about to be.
how even thru difficulty, God shares many blessings.
i am thankful for them all. i truly am.
this morning, i hold tightly, to
'this too shall pass'
i mean tightly... and i trust....
everything will be okay.
hope you are enjoying some peace and contentment this very moment.
here's to a most blessed week.
life is full of possiblities.
'sigh of gratitude'
xxo, kim

Bless you Kim and your lovely words... I keep reminding my self over and over this sentence; All is well and the only moment I have is this moment right here and now! It helps me be mindful and calm...
Big hug to you and your loved ones :-)
Have a wonderful Sunday Kim.
SOmetimes the hardest thing is just "to be"...something I struggle with at times.
Congratulations on ARtful blogging Kim, I can't wait to pick up a copy....eeeeeap!
Big Hug.
blessings to you kim~~
The thought of you and Andy having that quiet moment--well, that made my afternoon. You are so good at finding those "now" moments to just be, whether through photography, writing a note to a friend, or chilling with your beagle--that is one of the many things I admire about you. xoxo
a beautiful, almost ethereal photo -- so gorgeous. hope all is well with you... take care.
The photo is lovely and perfectly reflects your words...quiet moments can be so precious.
What would we do without times of reflection. Thanks for the reminder that "this to shall pass". I keep telling myself this is a time of incubation. Take care and also have a good week.
What a beautiful post and lovely photo! Yes we often get lost in our day to day and forget to take that moment to ourselves and reflect. As a dog lover (portrait artist) and an owner of a beagle myself... I can't see anything better than a quite time of pure hugs and kisses with my beagle. ahhh true love. I look forward to picking up Artful Blog and signing up for your next class! Happy to meet you :-)
