Another Week..... Another Collection of IG Photos

Yay for Saturday. Here's to a pretty-filled weekend.

I'm off to walk Ben. The sun is back...and the wind has settled..... Gotta love it.

Just wanted to pop in and share a little 'life via instagram' snippet....  Gosh it's a fun place to hang out.

My sweet brownie from John.

Look what has arrived. Sooooo GOOD.

Also in the mail this week...

On the windowsill....Farewell sweet Gerbera.....

Sending a real life note to a friend

Setting up a Still... click click....

Just playing around. But YES... let's make ART.

My Sweet Benny.... 'sigh'

Up Close... LOVE.

Where we walk

After the rain.

Such a good week. Focusing on the many blessings.

You can follow me on instagram here if you like. My username is kimklassen.

Things I'm lovin' these days.

  • The new issue of Kinfolk. My oh my... LOVE.
  • Looking so forward to this class. Excited but a little scared too.... (in a good way)
  • Finding space in the studio....slowly but surely....
  • This book is beautifully inspired. Major eye candy.
  • Loving the snippets of inspiration in Ann's book. So good.
  • Photoshop CS6 Beta. Insanely awesome. Especially loved it today when I accidentally unplugged my system...... Fired it up again...reopened cs6 and all my work was there!! Yay for the autosave feature.
  • Really enjoyed this virtual conference experience.
  • Grateful for all of the new Beyonder's. And absolutely in love with the original Beyond group. It's been a life-changing experience. Big gratitude.

Things I am not lovin' these days.

  • That the tax deadline in Canada is April 30th....and umm, I have a lot to get organized.

Off to the trail we go. Have a beautiful day, sweet friends.

Tell me, what are YOU lovin' these days.

Girl .. that gerbera photo is freakin fantastic! LOVE THAT! Wow ... awesome pics as usual.

You must explain what Kinfolk is ... Downloading CS6 trial is on my list of things to do.

What I am loving these days ...

Actually trying to do self portraits is becoming easier, believe it or not. I will do most anything you make me do in a lesson. I believe you've put it in there for a reason so I'm doing it. The things I've learned so far ... amazing. I would be lacking without your fabulous classes!

RadLab .... LOVE, LOVE, LOVE .... Got anymore of these "wow" things you'd like to share?

Can't get enough vintage and antique things ... love the hunt for that something special.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend. I would love to see you and Ben in a self portrait by the way. :)

What a beautiful post. Love all of it, each and every photo. I have to ask tho what are the tapes? And I love the handwritten note. I noticed a little tape in there as well.
What a wonderful Saturday here too.

I seem to always work from the bottom to top so: I am glad my taxes had an extra day since the 15th is a Sunday! It just has to go in the mail with a date/time stamp (hmmm.... do ya think I can use my scrappin stuff for that)? You, on the other hand have a couple of weeks to go. Love your photos and Ben is a huge replica of my little Chi, Sugar. She doesn't like cameras at all.

Isn't the tape called "Washi" tape in the scrapping world? I first saw it on Marisa Lerin's site "Pixal Scrapper" This will take you to the Washi Tape info:
I would just send a picture of it but don't know if either this or the picture is allowed.

I am loving my friends who readily help when I need it. My two sons, grandkids and ggrandson. The April Showers that will help get us thru the summer. My computer, the free scrapping materials that is so wonderfully given to keep me and others busy. That I can still move around. Soooo many things to be glad of!

Just moved my scrapping file for the month to the xhd and am ready to play with your watercolor goodie. I am needing to learn PSE10 along the way. Too big of a hurry to try things out to really dig in. Wish I could join in on some of the fun sounding gatherings in person but it isn't to be. I'll settle for a good shareing. :)

PS: My first camera was a brand new Brownie Hawkeye my mom gave me.

An inspired comment ? ;-) You got me inspired (again) alright....
That Instagram thing was on the news here all week (with the takeover from Facebook). Didn't have a clue what it was (silly isn't it?)
Then came this post of yours and I just had to know more about it.

Yesterday I was with my husband in a garden center (looking for some fine things to photograph when the Beyond Layers starts today) and it was such a lovely "lazy-sunday-moment" (sure you know what I mean).
I told him: I need an I-Phone ! I saw his eyebrows go up - I'm sure he thought about money too ;-) - "so, where does that come from all of a sudden?" he asked me. I explained the instagram thing and your photos and that it would be so much fun if at that right moment I could take a lovely image of him, the table with the lovely colored pots on it etc and all that without dragging around a heavy bag full of DSLR gear... . I kept on babbling. Lucky he knows me by now and just nods and says "aha" and "yes...."

The idea didn't leave me anymore. And back home, all of a sudden (!!) I remembered that for summer vacation I had bought an I-Pod touch (which I rarely used) to listen to some relaxing music whenever I needed it... I checked it out, and YES! Instagram works on that too. It doesn't have as many px as the phone but, hey, to start with, it should do. And what's more, the "money- look" disappeared from my husband's face too :-).

Installed it, it works and now I'm trying to figure it out. It's fun!
The sharing thing and putting the pics on my pc is not quite clear yet... in case anyone has tips on that :-))
You made my week! Have a nice one too and see you later in Beyond!
