Hello Kim!

Welcome back from your trip. Oh, I so wanted to visit you while you were here in California but please know I was with you in spirit. Darn, I wish I was at Camp Shutter Sisters! Sigh... Maybe one day, I can meet such kindred souls. Thanks for sharing this video and let your experience stir a while as you get back into your days back home.

Not sure why this brought tears to my eyes, but it did :~) Since I wasn't able to go, I will have to partake in the experience virtually through you! xoxoxo, Elaine

makes me so wish I could have done something like that... to meet, in person, some of the fellow photographers that inspire me so much and I admire so much that I've come to know and love on flickr! Hopefully sometime I will be able to! thank you for sharing this peek :)

Kim, Thanks you for sharing your wonderful trip with us. Take as much time as you need to savor it all. So happy for you. We know that if something touches you with it's beauty and fills your soul that you will, in your own way, pass it on to us. Welcome home.

i know how you're feeling....or at least i think i do.
i will never forget the first squam....the first time i was with women who all had something in common.
it moved me forever.
and the words to share with others to explain it....they don't come.
i think that's on purpose. i think we're the only ones who are to know those words and they stay safely hidden in our hearts.
so granted, squam was not shutter sisters camp. but i know the emotional ride it gave you.
i hope you keep riding that ride for months. it's a feeling all it's own, that can't be touched or compared to anything else.

May I add my happiness along with others for you and your fellow Shutter Sisters. The film was wonderful to watch and feel the love, enthusiasm, happiness, and personal self awareness and joy. I also agree with others, take your time returning to your blog, or lighten the work...time creeps in....savor what you so enjoyed. Thank you to Chris for the video...excellent!

Hi Kim,

So so pleased you had a great time and thank you so much for sharing it with us.

When I looked at that lovely slideshow I was struck by the sign that said "trust the process" . . . it really did jump out of the screen and hit me between the eyes . . .exaggeration here of course . . . .but it really made me think.

It made me realise that I'm not alone in having self doubts about what I am producing . . . . this seems to be the norm with people who work creatively . . . . and . . . . liberatingly . . . to be happy that I don't know what the finished result will look like but just feel free and confident that who I am will be expressed in what I do.

Thanks so much Kim, Teresa xx:-)
