Beautiful images. I'm having an off day today but hope that it all changes come tomorrow.
We've been empty nesters for quite a while now and it can be quite pleasant; however, they do seem to come and go quite a bit which is a good thing! Beautiful images from you as always!

Hi Kim,
I'm celebrating the gift of summer! Love all the color, flowers, and sunshine that we are finally experiencing in WI. Your photos speak to all these good things. Lovely!
Good for Bryce! It's a healthy step for parents and kids. Our daughter, Katrina, is home from college for the summer. Funny, how she and her friends feel the day is just getting good around 9pm - when the old folks are running out of energy! On her suggestion, we did play Monopoly w/ them last night till after 11pm :)

It has been an emotional week here. My neighborhood here in Mass. was hit by a tornado and has been devasted by tree damage. Although all that stinks, I'm counting many gifts to keep my spirits family and I and our pets are safe from harm, my house is standing and has no major structural damage and I have come to really realize and appreciate the goodness of people in our community through all of their help and support.

I'm celebrating good health and the sunshine today! Thank you for reminding me. :-)
Ah, such lovely photos. Yes, I, too have to say that these days for the kids it is a revolving door. And also that it is not a bad thing! Times have changed, haven't they?
I'm trying hard to celebrate the gift of work...feeling overloaded, but grateful just the same!

Beautiful images Kim. Today I read a sentence that stuck with me. "Each day is a gift and I get to open it" I am celebrating the day, a gift from God.

Beautiful images, my favorite being the paint brushes. Today I celebrate forgiveness towards others and oneself (the hardest in my opinion).

We are true empty nesters....once the last one flew, neither returned! Of course, it's a great delight when they can visit, although the first time they were back together they made messes everywhere. ;-)

Your images are glorious, Kim.

Hey Kim, people always seem surprised to find out that my guys share an apartment at college. I consider it a blessing that they get along so well that they want to do I'm sure you do! They keep an eye on each other. It's good. Adjusting to the empty nest takes a little time, I admit. I wish you the best!

oh wow - empty nesters! that is huge! Today I am celebrating the gift that is my job...even if I always seem to want to "leave my day job"...because it allows me to do the things that I am passionate about on the side. :)
