Creating Time Capsules Assignment ~ Filling The Shelf

Hello lovely friends,

How are you? How's your week?

Here we are.... Wednesday already....It's all so good. Isn't it? Even when things may not seem that good....Cause of course... we all have bad days... even weeks... even years... but in the scheme of it all.... I do's all so good!

I have this thing I do.... I love to rearrange the little spaces in our home... This space is part of my studio....2 old benches stacked....where I gather together things I love...pretty things... things that make me happy, things I am grateful for.....Now and then, I take everything off the shelves....and add the latest 'things' I'm loving.... pretty much always centering around books....and vintage..... (scroll down below the video to see the list of books featured in my film).

I'm taking my friend, Xanthe's Creating Time Capsules eCourse .... I made a little stop-frame film of 'filling the shelf' .... It's my first attempt... I'm sure I will get better at all of this as I go... But it really does makes me happy..... Scroll down to check out my little 1 minute film.....

I do believe this is the start of something fun and fab.... Soon, I hope to mix video, photo and stop frame into lovely little snippets of my world.

Anyhow, I thought you all might enjoy seeing it.....Plus it goes with our white TT theme...  shot in my white studio, on the white benches.... with white tulips..... etc.....'smile'....

p.s. click HERE to check out Xanthe's eCourse. Registration for round 2 (starting April 2nd) is now open.

kim...i absolutely LOVE everything you do and SOME DAY, i'll get courageous enough and LEARN enough to do the things you inspire me to do. so i lurk. i'm just not smart about my camera and i've got a new mac...well, a mac from 2008, but new to me and it's really hard learning to use it because it seems so opposite of my pc....but i'm beginning to get the hang of it.

so....i loved your shelf picture...but i am in LOVE with the inspire and create signs. did you do those? oh man....i NEED those in my studio. if you did those, would you be willing to give us a tutorial or something without cheating on yourself? i would so love having those things. need those things. sigh.

Kim, Wow, you rock! Your stop frame video tells a wonderful story. One of my very first questions when meeting a new friend is always, "So what do you like to read?" Thanks so much for helping to fill my bookshelf with a few new selections -and for a seemingly endless supply of inspiration.

Love the INSPIRE & CREATE signs ~ did you make these? ♥

Loved your video. We share some of the same books! I'm reading/journaling One Thousand Gifts because another BL member commented on my blog post Gratitude featuring an image I edited with one of your textures. She recommended the book to me.
I love all the ways this community is enriching one another's lives beyond our photo art.
