Day 2 of the 12 Days of Textures

and a little Holiday Tour - Part 1

remember the holstee poster I gave away awhile back? Here's mine framed... LOVE it!

Hello beautiful friends....

Just a little peek a boo at my holiday decorating...

I was hoping to take more pictures today....and then our fridge quit... Ugh... But thankfully John is a fixer.... and I do believe he has it all under control. Gotta love a man who can fix things!

And one who brings home antiques scales like this sweet thing.... :)

Anyhow, the fridge dilemma stole my lovely light today.... So hopefully tomorrow brings better luck. :)

Here's a little peek..... at a few corners of our dining room. I've been printing several of my recent images..... framing them in basic black frames.....

Really loving it!

I have lots more to share.... over the next few days...... I HEART holiday decorating.

'sigh'

More soon.....

I shot today's photo with my 50mm 1.4.... We have recently reunited....and I've fallen in love again. :)

Now, for today's main event... our day 2 texture....

Introducing Annabelle.

They won't all be musical...I promise....  :)

Oh and I love all the 12 day texture thumbnails that are popping up. Please keep sharing.

Simply use the day 1 link up gadget to share all of your 12 day textured photos. Click HERE to link up.

Remember your image must be textured with at least one layer of the 12 day textures.

Thanks so much for stopping by.... and for all the lovely comments you take the time to write.... I am most grateful.

xo,

grab a 12 days of texture banner if you wish?

Too sophisticated and elegant for words, Kim.

I would give up now, after seeing these.

The Christmas decor is so pretty.....and I love that you've framed some of your images to add to the beauty of your home. I was inspired to try "Annabelle" immediately, in spite of the fact that I have NO natural light in my home....and outside, it is totally colorless and dreary. Artificial light just had to do!

What an inspiration 12 Days of Textures has been for me. Thank you for sharing your marvelous talents with all. Your home looks vintage festive and full of all that is natural. Love that!

I'd like to add the 12 Days button to my blog, cut can't find the html. I've probably overlooked it, but if someone could point out where it is I'd appreciate it so much. Thank you!

Your home is beautiful as are you. I love decorating too but over the last few years many things prevent me from doing so, especially the way I want to which makes me sad.
So for now, I will dream through your stunning settings. The light is warm and friendly, you are so very creative in your displays, the artist in you shines through while you make your home a sanctuary for love and togetherness. Your family is blessed to have you and the love they have for you shines through when you share.
I may not get a chance to comment every day but do want you to know that this gift of yourself is truly welcomed and appreciated from the bottom of my heart.
I need things like this that lift my spirits right now and by delving into my creative venting, well, this is just what was needed.
Thank you for sharing your home and your spirit with us, it means a lot.
Day 2 is adorable and really, I love the music ... always have, the more the better.
I look forward to tomorrow ...
Hugs, Joy
