Hello lovelies.....

Oh dear..... oh my.....I was just walking down the hall after our Friday trip to Cancer Care...having a bit of a woe is me pity party in my head..... when it hit me... It's Friday?!?!

It's not like I didn't 'know' it was Friday..... and it's not like I didn't have my FF post planned..... 'sigh'.....
I'm blaming it on the power outage last night.... My equilibrium is all outta sorts.... :)

I'm so sorry.....

I will be back to update this post with my ff story....just as soon as I can.

Several hours later....

After a long walk in the wet snow.... I feel renewed......My oh my... I needed that....

My friday finds...

a lovely gift in the mail from Beverly..... An absolutely stunning set of napkins.... the perfect sprinkles of red...seriously... how sweet???? and a felted heart...hand made by Beverly herself.... perfect for props... hanging on teacups, bottles....endless possiblities..... I love everything SOOO much....

Truly grateful......thank you dear friend.....

Time to say goodbye.... must go figure out what's for dinner.... Then I hope to be back here at my desk to post my 2B lesson..... fingers and toes crossed... the lights stay on.....

Link Away......

with gratitude....

p.s. Seeing as everything is so topsy turvy today....I will announce the give away winners this weekend.... be sure to visit my previous 2 posts to enter for a chance to win a one year spot in the Test Kitchen....and a free texture collection of your choice.....

Dearest Kim...Thank God you are all OK...I started checking at 1 am because I've made a promise to myself not to be late on my postings :)...when I didn't see your FF I was worried but went off to bed anyway...when I woke up and you weren't there I started to worry...about YOU and of course about John. I'm grateful that you're better late than are HERE and it doesn't matter why you weren't earlier...if all good NOW!!! xoxoxoxo and big, big Hugs {{{KIM & JOHN}}}} ~Cat

Worried about you as well. So, so glad you are well. And you are allowed a little 'woe is me" once in a while. Just know you have all of us behind you.

I did not even remember it was Friday...I am so screwed up and without excuse. Okay...I have been off work 2-1/2 weeks due to surgery but still...really?

I knew you were ok so I wasn't worried. I offer no excuse for where I am in the scheme of things. Soon, I'll get my head screwed on right. Xoxo
Oh, love the photo and love Beverly's gifts.

I'm really glad things are ok with you and John, Kim, with just a bit of extra craziness added by the loss of electricity (that alone would mix me up). Wishing you a peaceful and restful weekend! And no worries on our class lessons and posts! All the best to you both!! xxoo

Funny how nature (and good friends) sometimes seems to know exactly what we need. I'm glad you had some time to restore your sense of calm while walking in the snow.

First time visitor although I have seen your name float in and out through friends I have met in the past few years . . . you know, since blogging friends hugged my soul.

I have been reading . . . you . . . for the past few hours. Oh I am inspired by your touch and texture, your art . . . but what really brought me in was suffering, resilience, cry, blessings, love . . . and continuing when heart is breaking. I can identify tenderly with . . . people talking, avoiding . . . yet what is hoped for . . . is kindness and compassion.

I look forward to meeting you more, and more . . . and grateful I met you today. One step in front of the other . . .
love . . . lynne
