My Friday Finds

Hello lovelies... How are you?

I had to show you my lovely oh so old.... chair....(circa 1950's)....found at Lady of the Lake. Oh my gosh.... be still my heart. She's a beauty..... I've been dreaming of a vintage folding chair for some time.... I just could not pass this little lovely up. I debated about the color, but John was with me at the time....and said... we can always paint it white..'

So if I tire of the green... white she will become.

I took several photos... the chair...the tulips....just right...on the verge of spent.... the petals beginning to curl... the sway of the stems.... so good.

Start to Finish Students, details on this shoot coming to the classroom.

I have another book to tell you about. Pretty Pastel Style by stylist, Selina Lake... Oh my... it's full of beauty... so many pretty pastel ideas..... I have my eye on her latest book, Outdoor well. Take a peek at Selina's blog here. So inspired.

Before I is the last day to download the Entire Studio Collection (a $60 value) in the Test Kitchen. Members, be sure to pop in and grab your set.

Before I sign off....

John is home.... Phew...what a couple of weeks it has been... Thank you for all your lovely thoughts and prayers.

Happy Friday...... Link away lovelies....

Love & Gratitude.... ♡

p.s. Be Still - Fifty-Two is still open for registration... I'd love to have you join us... It's going to be a beautiful YEAR.

The green chair and the pastel colors are the very essence of spring. It's raining cats and dogs here this morning and your image is the perfect reminder of sunny days just ahead. Can't wait to for the whole start to finish lesson on this photo. I just finished a few pictures editing with the dark and moody aesthetic, now I'll follow you to light and airy and pastel!

My husband and I spend time talking about you and John. Every step John endures, we remember. We pray for you and hope for you and know with certainty that healthier days are ahead. It's amazing how strong you can be when you really need to be.

You have got to stop finding so many good books :) Just kidding. I love all the inspiration. I don't normally branch out to pastels but I might have to give them a try.

I just remember something...your green chair triggered it...My Miss Margaret (98 when she died) ...left me the contents of her house...and her little kitchen set and 2 chairs were green like this...I must look that up, they are in my Maine house...I wish i had been talking your classes back then...I would saved her whole house...sweet memory here.
