My Friday Finds

Hello lovelies... How are you?

I'm still snipping lilacs.... They are just so beautiful..... And their scent.... Oh my... I love all the various shades...creamy white .... soft lilac ..... deep purple....

I'm waiting on the 'new' lilacs to open.... We planted 3 shrubs in 2012....and Yippee.... they will bloom this year...

Today's photos were taken on the porch (again)....

Check out my new table from Carols.... LOVE at first sight... It's not very big... but perfect for pretty picture taking.... the texture and weathered detailed ..... amazing.... So Wabi-Sabi.....

Here's a close up....

I will use it as a potting bench as well... If I ever find time to plant some flowers..... 'sigh'....

Pre-Cancer...John did most of the gardening... He's not able to 'play in the dirt'..... this year... but..... If all goes well... next summer he will be back at it....and he can NOT wait.

He LOVES gardening......

It's been quite a week....

I finally delievered my 'numbers' to the accountant....Woo hoo.... We are off to Winnipeg tomorrow for a doctor's appt....

Things are pretty good.... John is slowly gaining strength...and eating more....  enjoying the warm weather .... So good to see and feel the sun.....

::

I hope this post finds YOU and yours well..... I want to thank you all for stopping in and sharing your world..... truly grateful.....

Happy Friday...... Link away lovelies....

Love & Gratitude.... ♡

xo,

Lilacs are my favorite flower, their smell is simply intoxicating. I love the variety you have, especially the deep shade of violet, have not seen them before. The table has such character, I am sure it has many stories to tell!

As always lovely photos, Kim. Lilac is one of my favourites, and I can almost smell the wonderful fragrance when I look at your images. So glad to hear that John is getting better. I'm sure a bit of sunshine will help him on his way. All the best for the doctor's appointment in Winnipeg. Bonny

Photo compositions with Lilacs are endless. So many subtle colors, textures, softly draping curves, vases, and backdrops - all to compliment this flower that is so fragrant and romantic. Kim. your images are divine - every last one. Love that porch light and the new table is weathered to perfection. So happy to hear that John is slowly improving - and yes, he will be back to digging in the dirt by next summer. Thank you - again and again for hosting this link-up and sharing so much.

Oh, yes, to the table! And yes to lilacs. Around here they don't last long enough, they've been done for weeks. So I"m really enjoying yours. Good luck today with the doctors! xoxo

Ohhh, I love these images Kim. I went to an amazing garden yesterday and they have a lilac garden with 400 plants and 250 varieties. Of course I was 3 months late to the party so I'll be marking my calendar for next March. Hope everything goes well in Winnipeg. LOVE that table btw!
