« 30 textures in 30 days - A Little Inspiration | Main | Do you Dare to Dream? »

Looking for Lovely - a Winter Walk

Hello my friends,

Have you been wondering where I've been?  Where your Friday Texture disappeared to?

The truth is...I've been right here. But I needed to take a little break!

And it has been GOOD.

I can't believe I have watched about 6 hours of Mary Tyler Moore in the last 2 days.

Anyhow, Ben and I went for a stroll in the back wooded area behind our home. My mission was to find some loveliness...even though it's quite barren... lots of empty tree branches and white snow.

But the sun was beautiful... and we found some lovely...and a little sparkle too!  :)

I used today's freebie on all the images....  I call it golden..  And here it is.

Texture Lovin' Listers.... I will send your download link out in just a few. Not on the list?  Feel free to sign up if you wish. :)

Just a couple of things, before I sign off...

The 30 textures in 30 days project has been amazing!  I hope to have the collection ready early next week.  I will keep you posted!  Honestly, it's going to be BEYOND.... truly.

I will post a few image samples in the next day or so... Lots of loveliness to share with you all!

Also, I'm running a new round of The Essentials in March!  If you are interested in learning the ins, outs and in betweens of photoshop.... please check it out...  It's jammed full of information...with easy to understand lesson material. :)

Okie doke..signing off.... Mary is calling to me..  I can hear it playing in the background.  I set the pvr to record and last I checked there were 28 'new' episodes to watch... haha.

So glad you took a little break! Thanks so much for this wonderful texture and for all of your great textures. I used some of your textures on some Dutch Iris photos I took today and then posted on my blog. I love how they turned out! I look forward to trying out this new one.

Dear Kim, I'm just beginning to explore all the lovely things you have made, dreamt up and think about, but I'm loving it. And MTM--well, that's a stroke of genius. You need to rest and regenerate and replenish--nothing better than laughter for that. One of the best days I ever spent was watching 8 hours of "Cheers", unlike me, but oh, so delirious!
Thank you.

HI Kim, thanks for sharing your lovely walk with us. I live in the desert so to see some snow is pretty nice. But I do have to say, I enjoy looking at it and visiting it more than living in it. I'm an ocean kind of gal...and I'm leaving to far from that as well....sigh.:( I love the texture you gave us and can't wait to use it and share on the flickr group. I'm sad my SkinnyMini Feb course is over but I learned a lot and have been playing in my "free trial" offer as much as possible. I'll have to save up my $$$'s in able to afford to actually buy it, but that's the plan. I do have Corel, but can't seem to figure it out. Well the point was just to thank you for the wonderful pictures, textures and for the sweet little course.

Bright blessings,
