My Week via Instagram & a Little Give Away

Hello lovelies... thank you for the sweet get-well notes and emails.... So kind....truly... thank you.
I am feeling human again. No idea where that came from.... Ugh.... Thankfully Ben was willing to snuggle up all day yesterday... and help me get better. Phew.....
Just thought I'd share a little of my past few days...via iPhone and Instagram......
Tell me... are you on instagram? Great news...it's now available for android phones..... So why not join us... :)
I just received Ann's new book..... Reflections from One Thousand Gifts. I just know I am going to LOVE it..... This book is a collection of passages from her first book..... I love books with little snippets that seem to be written just for me.... :)

And just cause.... a little snap of a kitchen corner....

My new screensaver..... inspired by this week's Beyond Layer's letter.

I also love this book..... very inspired.

Lovely light shining through my orchid...... 'sigh'

By the lake...with Mr. Ben.... Have I mentioned how much I love him? :)

And in he went..... see the geese and seagulls.... they are standing on ice... Why would he want to swim in there? Brrr....

Resting up.... until the next walk.... Could he be any cuter? :)

Pink Eggs... just cause....

You can find me HERE on instagram..... my user name is kimklassen.
How 'bout a give away...
I'd love to mail a copy of Ann's new book to one of you.... Share a comment below....stating something you are thankful for......

There's still time to sign up for another round of Beyond Layers......
Here's what Diane Foster from Studio 56 said about the class..... Thank you Diane... so sweet... 'sigh'...
Beyond Layers e-course with Kim Klassen is truly beyond fabulous. Kim is an incredible artist who teaches about capturing great images and then adding techniques and textures in Photoshop. The joy of taking an online course caught me by surprise. I have enjoyed working at my own pace in the comfort of my studio. As I pondered the prompt for this week, "If not now, when", I was inspired to capture this image. Finding goodness.Finding health.Finding happiness!

Be well, Kim.
I am grateful for the fact that after a year of treatment, my last chemo uptake will be on May 22, 2012! AND I AM STILL HERE!
I am also thankful for being a part of the Beyond Layers experience. You know Kim, I came across your website quite by accident a year and a half ago. I signed up for the Texture Tuesday even though I hadn't taken photographs for a long time and didn't know anything about Photoshop. I figured, well one day I will do this and will be glad I signed up. Well, I was busy with this and that and didn't really do anything with photography of even open up Photoshop. Then the whole cancer thing hit me. Throughout the course of surgeries and treatment I began asking myself "If Not Now, When?" about a lot of stuff. Then the Beyond Layers offering came through my email and I went for it! Best decision I ever made. The Beyonders are a wonderful supportive group, I'm taking pictures constantly, and have even taught my husband a thing or two about Photoshop! And if all that wasn't enough to be grateful for - I was able to sign up for Camp Shutter Sisters this year!!!!! Too cool. Love is awesome!
I'm thankful for the financial safety net my former husband provides even though I haven't had to use it.
I'm thankful for "movement" in my work world allowing me options that weren't there yesterday.
I'm thankful for my sweet, sweet furry friend, Kobi.
I'm thankful for all I am learning and experiencing here in Beyond Layers!
