Shutter Sisters - Back to Basics

Hey there sweet friends... Happy Tuesday AM.  How are you?

Just popping up a Shutter Sisters Challenge photo....  Chris put a prompt out today....'Back to Basics' asking us to share our SOOC images..... So here's my desk this morning....and other than the watermark... this is straight out of my camera... (SOOC)....

Do you have any idea how hard it is for me to leave my photo completely alone? Seriously HARD. I so wanted to do a little hue/sat adjustment... or maybe a little curves adjustment... :)

Pop on over and share your SOOC image today...

I will be back...with some new textures.. hopefully this evening...if not... tomorrow.

I'm in eCourse mode...working on the Essentials lessons for today and getting ready for the Art of Texture - Secrets Revealed class in February.... more on that in the next day or so.  I'm looking for students who wanna join in... you can check it out here...

xxo, Kim

one more SOOC shot... just for fun.

Beautiful SOOC shots! Perfect depth of field to make them interesting. I find I rarely use SOOC shots. With adjustments in levels, curves, and saturation (etc), I feel that my photos look closer to reality - or at least my memory of what the real thing looked like.

I can never leave a picture of mine alone. I never feel like any of my pictures are good enough SOOC. Yours however looks great.

LOVE the wire basket bokeh in your second shot! :)

And I have real problems posting SOOC shots, too. I <3 photoshop. lol

I love these shots, especially that second one and it's fun bokeh. I have a lot of trouble leaving my shots alone. Lots. So I hear you.

I have a question Kim. Do you have a special container of brushes just for photographing? Or else, how do you get them so clean again. Mine look so battered and messy compared! eek.

Roberta... good question..... i have so many brushes.....
because I designed for magazines for over 10 years... i rec'd free brushes from the brush companies I endorsed.... so... the scruffy ones are to the left... but I do take really good care of my brushes....
I'm a little weird about it actually...... haha..
