Spreading a Little Cheer

Happy Saturday!

I've just been playing with Friday's Magic Pack and....some of the new 30 textures in 30 days... maybe I could call the new collection.... 30~30...

Oh but wait...that won't work... cause I know there will be more than 30 in the collection....

mind spinning..... hmmmmm.....I may be calling for help with the name....

Anyhow, I just had to pop in and share a few pics of my sweet bouquet....

hope you are having a most beautiful day!

loving the '30~30' suggestions..  Keep 'em coming....

Oh and if you have been playing with the new magic pack... share the image link in the comments... I'd love to see!!

Oh, those photos are so beautiful, Kim! But I guess I'm not surprised :~)

I needed a bit of cheer today, too! I walked to the market this afternoon and took some pics on the way with my G11, but I'm still learning about it, so I'm not happy with them :~( I have to see if they can be saved in Photoshop :~)

I just used both of the Magic textures on this photo:
I think they work better on a light background, like yours. But it's fun to experiment!

I have such a long way to go....the color is too intense in my photo. As I said, I want more 'dreamy'!

I used both "magic" textures in this...

It was neat to try them using darken and overlay. Thank you so much for creating for us!

Thanks so much for the textures! You do really beautiful work. I know you said these won't work well with all images, but I had to try them on this little gal. I took this through my kitchen window. It was blowing freezing rain outside and she was holding onto this branch so tightly. I used both textures. May not suit everyone, but I really liked the outcome. Thanks again for the textures!

I love how you processed both of these Kim, very beautiful.
I played with both of them, and used Robins Egg before. Love it in PSE, but it's looking a bit greyish on Flickr. I still like it though :)

Hi, Kim. I'm new to your site, but signed up for your next Photoshop course. I LOVE your textures and have been having fun playing with them. I've attached a photo I like that I added a texture to, and love the way it turned out. I know it's pretty simplistic, but still ...

Thank you for your beautiful textures!

ohhhh, how beautiful these are! They hint at old postcards with the brilliant color that gets slightly worn over the years, but remains beautiful despite the wear and tear of the years. I can't wait for class! I'm giggling all over!!!

I experimented with your Coffeeshop Ice Pop & your Magic Pack, just for fun...I too wish I knew how to get the colors of my images less intense, and more dreamy looking like yours!!! Any tips? Absolutely LOVE the Magic Pack...I intend to use it over & over. You seriously are so amazing for sharing your talent & knowledge with us...many many thanks. Here is my image I worked on today :)

I added some 'magic' along with a vintage texture to a photo of my dog Casey as she was playing in the snow. I love the look. Here's the link:

Kim, I love using your textures. I am doing a journal (, and I have used your textures in most of the pages. I am not an experienced photoshop user but while I am learning your textures make my images look so much better.

Here's one journal page/blog entry with one of the Magic Pack textures (I think!).

I wanted to let you know I added both your "buttons" to my blog, but loved these carnations so much...and made a new button... "Kim Klassen Texture Lovin Sister." hehe. Maybe you could make it official after your 3030? :)
