so i made a promise that i am not going to be able to keep.

i thought i would have the staycation site up and running this week.

but i'm afraid, things did not quite go as planned.

i am working on it. though....

please bare with me...

hopefully by early next week it will be up and running.

so we went for a drive yesterday....and discovered this treasured old buidling.

isn't it fabulous?

we couldn't get right up close.

we would have had to walk in and poor andy wasn't up to that.

:(

in fact i shared a bit about my old boy on 2bbb yesterday.

he/we need your prayers.

'freebie friday'

i have a fabulous texture to share...

i call it 'primmed'

i used it on the above building image.

mouse over for the before.

here's what i did.

converted the image to black and white

then brought back a bit of the color.

then

one layer of the 'primmed' texture set at 100% multiply and another layer at 60% soft light.

that's it.

and finally...here it is...'primmed'
