Same Photo.....2 different presets

Happy TT.

Oh my... I just got off the loveliest connect with the Be Still group!! So good to chat with such an amazing group....of genuine creatives.....

Thank you all so much! My oh my.....I needed that.

I'm afraid my post is going to be short and sweet.... and I will definitely be back here with more photos of these beautiful hydrangeas I found at Safeway!! Oh my gosh... sooo pretty......

They came in 3's....but because my day was cut short.... I only had time for a few quick photos....and for some seems a single flower is almost always right...

I thought I'd share a few different process versions... using presets that are part of my 31 Days class....Honestly... I love all 3 looks...... But you can't go too wrong with hydrangeas....  so much to love.

With that said... the thing I may love most about this photo ..... the way the letters on the linen peek through the glass bottle.....

'happy sigh'.......

Today's Uptop Recipe

Toned and cropped in LR.... then I applied my new preset, Lightly 2. (part of the 31 days class content)

Next Photoshop for a touch of texture.....One layer of achieve at soft light, 100% opacity.... then a hue/sat adjustment layer, clipped to the texture to remove a little yellow.... and that was that....

Today's freebie texture..... flow

OH! this is the first thing I noticed Kim on your first picture, the transparency of the bottle and the letters we are able to read through the water... your scripted towel is an awsome part of the decor and your back-lit pictures are as always fabulous.

I have been tempted to get these also, so pretty, really need to because the season will be over way too soon. Just wonderful Kim, I enjoyed spending time with you last night. Wish we could spend the morning with a cup of coffee sometime.

I wish I could have participated in the BeStill questions, but I am so far behind! I think I am on week three or four! But I am saving them all and will find time to work my way back through them!
Wow, yes! Last night's connect was so inspiring and uplifting....I could hardly get to sleep. LOL Oh these hydrangea photos are just beautiful Kim. Love the clarity and soft bright tones. Happy Tuesday dear friend!

I am really starting to love hydrangeas! Beautiful images! I loved the chance to connect last night in the BeStill Connect. I haven't gotten to do much with the class content, or photography really for that matter since my son has entered my world, but it was good to connect with some creatives for a little while. Thank you for that opportunity.

such gorgeous hydrangeas! i haven't been on line or posting too much over the past few months, and i do hope your husband is doing well, kim! you're often in my thoughts as i, too, have been journeying through some health issues with both my husband, and our nephew. we are grateful for each day together. i also want to thank you for your inspiration, and the beautiful textures that you so generously share with us ... i've just been enjoying the past couple of days visiting around to most of the entries, and you inspire so many! have a beautiful week ... blessings to you!

i have always loved those huge, showy flowers! i really enjoy playing with your textures - and sometimes i can't decide which version i like best, so i keep them both, and sometimes put both of them on a scrap page. Thank you for creating such lovely playthings and giving them away! Generosity always comes back to the giver in multiples! May it always be so for you!
