Dear friends,

Welcome to another Texture Tuesday. Thanks for stopping by....and sharing your beautiful textured art!

This weeks theme - Free & Easy.

Next Tuesdays theme ....Tuesday, March 11th.

From Above.

How are you, my friend? I hope well......

A quick post today.....

An Update on John

I've been quiet around here about John..... I've had several emails asking how he's doing.... Thank you for checking in.....

He's doing quite well..... Slow & Steady.....

Today... he and Bryce ventured into Brandon without me.... they did some grocery shopping, a few errands.... went out for lunch...... Apparently, they had no idea how much work shopping is... : )

He is still dealing with the after-effects of chemo.... from nausea to numbness in his overall exhaustion... But he's come a long way on this journey.... We are so thankful for his recovery.....

Thank you again and again for all the love, prayers and endless support..... We will be....forever grateful.

Another 'Simple' Still Image Recipe

Today's images processed in LR then into photoshop for a layer of soft light.... and varying opacities (65-85%)....Seriously.... I do believe this is a new fav for me......

Texture Lovin' Listers the download link for the February trio went out via email 2 weeks ago..... If you missed it.... Click HERE to download the set.

so happy to hear John is doing well and that you are doing well also. No help with the juicing, I tried this and failed. :(

Soooo glad to hear that he continues to improve. I understand that the neuropathy from chemo can be rough. Praying for healing for that too.

So happy to hear your hubby is out and about. Great news and prayers answered. I always love your flower shots. They are such inspiration to me. I think I may need to go buy some tulips today!

Lovely, light spring images. I am so glad to hear John is doing well and getting better and stronger.

I am sure you can stick with your juice fast if that is what you really want to do, but I also (personally) think that life has a place for chocolate!

It's great to hear that John is recovering and getting slowly better. It must be so nice - and very hard as well strenght-wise - to get back doing daily things, like groceries.
Your Lightroom images are so beautiful ... I need to sing on the Beyond Beyond-course, I've heard so much good about the things you teach, and seen the pretties images on the blogs of firends, that are on the class.

I'm so glad to hear John is getting better and even going on a shopping trip.

I think that Simple is becoming one of my favorites also. I used it on the photo I posted today.

I like to think all your beautiful flower images will help to move spring along. Slow and steady is a good path for recovery.

Kim, I will never tire of gazing at your lovely images! I'm so happy that John is on the road to recovery. It must be so hard for him......and you too.
I've seen Ben in a few of your shots, makes me smile!!

Kim, I'm so happy to hear that John is continuing to improve. Yes, the journey has been slow going, but isn't that true for all of us? A new season is creeping in and I've relegated more time for writing and creative interests. My body and spirit are thanking me immensely. These weekly entries are a welcome hiatus from the rigors of the days at hand. Thank you for the quiet blessing you provide. :-)
