Hello lovelies. Happy TT.

Quick post today... Hope this finds you well.

Today's Pink Peony Recipe

In Camera

Image captured with the Nikon d800 using the 24/70 f/2.8 lens.

ISO 400, Exposure 1/500 at f/3.2 Manual Mode with Matrix Metering.

Lightroom

Cropped to 4 x 5. Next an auto-tone. Then applied my Dark Mood preset with a light boost in saturation (Be Still students this preset is available for download in the Week 6 lesson). The Be Still students are making some serious magic with this preset!! sooo good.

Into Photoshop

I added a layer of Waterfront 18 (the perfect tones for this image) at soft light 100% opacity. I masked the texture off the peony and leaves at about 50%.

Click HERE to download a sample of Waterfront 18. (in case you missed it previously).

For those of you who are part of the Creative Cloud program, you may have noticed Mini-Bridge is no longer available in the latest version of Photoshop. (Photoshop CC 2014).

I came up with a work around, that might be helpful.

That is some serious moodiness. Love it! I'm behind in be still so this is jolt to get me going.

A beautiful peony, Kim! Thank you for the help with the bridge - I was wondering how it had disappeared!
Happy canada day to you :)

Thank you so much Kim for the video regarding creating a kind of virtual mini--bridge. I too was a little frustrated that it was gone. Thanks again!

Happy Canada Day! Actually it is the day after Canada Day and finally the sun is shining after 4 or 5 miserable days.

***Kim, I was wondering if your presets for LR are available to purchase other than through the Be Still class. I have started your LR course and am loving it. Have everything set up ready to start importing photos :)
