Dear friends,
Welcome to another Texture Tuesday. Thanks for stopping by....and sharing your beautiful textured art!
This weeks theme - Quiet
Next Tuesdays theme ....Tuesday, April 1st
Free & Easy....
Today's Recipe - 'melancholy'
Edited in LR. I was going for a quiet.... moody feel....
First I did a quick basic tone, then I applied a new preset I call 'melancholy'.
This preset combines subtle desaturation......a nice boost of clarity.....a tone curve for the faded film effect......and finally a gentle lavender split tone in the shadows.....
Into photoshop....
Waterfront 18
I selected Waterfront 18...because the tones seemed to match my image....
2 layers..... one at soft light 52% and another at multiply 26%.
::
One more...
Textured with Waterfront 27......Soft Light 74% opacity.
Today's post is dedicated....
to moms (and dads) .......with a child .... hurting....
from sadness, sickness, fear, addiction, disease..... pain....
today... tomorrow.....always.....
May we never give up.....
May we find HOPE ... in the smallest of gifts....holding tight to love....
one day at a time....
'Listen now....to the gentle whispers of hope.....'
::
If you have a moment.. close your eyes.....send a prayer.....a loving thought...... for all the beautiful children you know and love.....
Happy TT friends.... Link away....
with gratitude.....

Oh, the children. I have a great niece that's been through something no one should have to at such a young age. Not easy for everyone involved. Thanks.
Thank you for the love, talent and kindness you spread with your blog - although I hardly ever am ready with an upload I eagerly await each post and enjoy much the 'walk' through the rich garden of your friends' contributions. Such riches, so much love spread and hope given - I join with my prayers and thankfulness.
