{Texture Tuesday} The Gratitude eDition

mouse over to see the before

We're back with another Texture Tuesday!

This week is all about 'Gratitude'!

Here are the TT challenge details for this linky party.

  • You image must be based on the theme 'gratitude'.
  • Your image must contain  two different Kim Klassen textures.

I decided to add a little gratitude to my cup, using my dymo labeler.... and one of my hand-made tea tags.

Today I am truly thankful for the 'little things'...such as my dymo labeler....tea tags.... cozy clothes, simple cups, and fabulous folks like each of you!

I textured my image with both 'word' and last week's freebie, 'fall-in'.

Before we get to linking up.... let's talk next week's TT theme.

Tuesday, October 11th TT Challenge Details:

Let's go with a color? Shall we? I loved the 'orange eDition' we did awhile back.

How bout the color Red?

So to clarify.... your image must contain the color RED...and be processed with at least one layer of any of my textures.

New to Texture Tuesdays? Here's the short and sweet TT rules.

  • please link directly to your post, not just to your blog or flickr stream.
  • please link back to the Café. You can grab the TT button HERE, if you wish.
  • please visit the other TT participants and leave them some comment love. Remember it's a party.... and what's a linky party without lots of comment love? Right!

Want more details? Click HERE for the full scoop!

Let's get this party started!!

Shall we?

In honor of gratitude, I invite you to take a moment and share something you are thankful for in the comments below.

xxo,

Good morning Kim,
And thank you.
Again.
And always.
What I am thankful for right now is that the thumbnail image finally came through: I always think that I may have done something wrong in treating the linky :-)

Seriously: Nature, Growth in my garden and surroundings, weather, all the flowers that let me take their portraits and all the generous texture designers that encourage me to PLAY.
My fellow editing friends that inspire me to try more. And the meme hosts that make us meet up. You can consider your self being very prominent in all this. Thanks again.

Kim, I love the new texture - thanks for that. Today I'm thankful for the joy that all children bring to our lives. Mine hav grown up but there are many others to see. Just to watch them process as they try to make sense of this wacky world they have come to live in -- is mega joyous!

KIm, I love this! Can you tell me how you got the gratitude label? Is it a brush or??'
Thanks a million,
Marilyn

Hi Kim,

I love your Gratitude mug and the textures are wonderful. Something strange happened when I went to enter my photo, it asked me if I wanted to sign on with blogger or google. Then it put a BLog label where my photo would go. Now it directs you to blog sign on. Very strange. I tried to remove it, but it won't let me. If you can would you please remove the link to Karen, A Scrapbook of Inspiration. Have a lovely evening.

Kim, I am grateful that I was curious enough to find you. Thank you for the textures, for which I am very grateful, and the platform to meet other participants.

I am grateful to have had the years with my daughter's two children before they moved so horribly far away. We used to live within a couple minutes of each other. Now it's a 10-hour trip there and 10 hours back. We have to save visits for vacation time and do a bit of planning ahead. Not to mention saving up enough money - driving is still less expensive than flying, but not by a whole lot. Oh, yes...I'm grateful to have a vehicle that can make the trip.

Kim,

I just stopped back to say thanks for inspiring me each week with your wonderful textures. I feel like a little kid every time I receive your e-mails with the gift of textures. Your textures truly paint inspiration into my life. Through your tutorials, you have taught me to go beyond the comfortable in my photography.

Your themes are equally inspiring. Gratitude...it's the way I feel about your work and what you have created for all of us to enjoy.
