{Texture Tuesday} The Love eDition

Welcome to another round of Texture Tuesday!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

This week's theme is LOVE.

My image is textured.....ever so softly with 'fall'in'.

The Photoshop Recipe

  • Tweeked the white balance and exposure in ACR.
  • Added a levels adjustment to lighten the image a little more.
  • Added one layer of fall-in at screen blend mode. I dropped the opacity down to 27%. If you look closely you can see some subtle textured detail around the edges. Basically I used the texture to create the dreamy effect I was going for.
  • Lesson: now and then soft & subtle is okay too.

Before we start linking up, let's talk next week's TT theme.

The theme for Tuesday October 3rd is:

This may be a repeat theme, I'm really not sure.... But definitely worth repeating. :) I think!

And to spice things up a little, your image must contain 2 different layers of any of my textures.

New to Texture Tuesdays? Here's the short and sweet TT rules.

    • please link directly to your post, not just to your blog or flickr stream.
    • please link back to the Café. You can grab the TT button HERE, if you wish.
    • please visit the other TT participants and leave them some comment love. Remember it's a party.... and what's a linky party without lots of comment love? Right!

I have not been as diligent as I should have been when downloading textures. Some, okay a lot, of them, I don't remember to whom they belong. Do you have a list of names of your textures I could check off. I would be very good and put yours in a separate folder from now on. It's just that when I started, I didn't realize I would be finding so many at the various sites. And yours are always so awesome.

Whether you do or don't have a list, I still appreciate all you do. Thanks.
