Texture Tuesday Theme Announced
and the winner is.....

a fab cup from winners and the latest issue of Somerset Life - 'happy sigh'
Happiest Friday!
How was your week?
Mine was BEYOND fabulous! It wasn't anything exciting... but I managed to get a ton of work done! And it feels so good!
I'm popping in today with a few things....
First it's time to announce the TT Theme and of course the TT Theme contest winner.
Can you guess the theme? :) There's a hint in my photo.
I have to say this was really hard... So I picked ten of my favs and then had John pick a number between one and ten....
The best part of all this.... we have so many fantastic theme ideas now!! Woo hoo!
The winner is Olivia.... Her idea was 'a movie'.... Here's her comment....
I love that mug! I miss shopping at winners!! my challenge entry is A MOVIE.. pick any movie, your favorite movie, the photo just has to go along with the the title! you said to think out of the box.. right! how fun is that!
This should be fun! Don't you think!
Congrats Olivia! You are the winner of the Studio Collection and a 4 month membership to the Test Kitchen! Please email me and I will get you all prized up. :)
Thank you to all who shared ideas. I appreciate each and every one!!! Truly.

I just released The Ultimate Texture Bundle. It's a collection of 80 past textures. You can find the details HERE.
Anyhow, I'm loving it! I finally have all of my many past textures in one beautiful folder. I've been playing away with them. It's like they are brand new to me!
happy sigh....

I used Music & Art on today's photo. I had totally forgotten about it. 'sigh'. I love it!
Here's a peek at it.

I thought it'd be fun to take the same image and do a few different versions.
Here it is in black and white.

and here it is in not quite color.

Whatchya think? Do you have one you prefer?
I'm leaning toward the first one.... hmmmm... but i do like the not-quite color one a lot too.
If you happened to be one of the many FABULOUS people who ordered the ultimate bundle, please be sure to share what you've been up to with the textures.
Simply add the link in the comments so I can come take a peek. Or share your images on my facebook page. Oh and by the way... I'd love for you to 'like me' on facebook. Pretty please....
And just a few more tidbits....
~ I finished listening to The Help! It was 18 plus hours.... and honestly the most fantastic audiobook I've ever listened to! I'm so sad it's over!
Any suggestions what I should download next? I'm open to suggestions.
I hope to go to the movie this weekend! Have you seen it yet? How was it? Do tell!
~ I'm over at Shutter Sisters today. I'm talkin' drama... come share with us!
~ And finally, The Essentials class starts on August 23rd. If you are ready to get your head around photoshop or photoshop elements, come check it out.
Happiest weekend.... Love & gratitude.....
xxo,

Congrats to Olivia, the movie idea is brilliant! :)
I love the "almost color" photo and its vintage feeling. That cup is so beautiful, btw!
The Ultimate Texture Bundle is fantastic! Even if my budget is very limited (I have not been working for a few years) I might be able to get it at the end of the month, so keep your fingers crossed for me pretty please ;D
Happy day!
Thanks for the audible reminder. I had been meaning to download "The Help" (it was already in my basket) - and so I just finished loading it and it will be my next "read". I never thought that I would like listening to a book - but I've become addicted to them - almost as much as I am addicted to 'dead tree' books. Thanks Kim !
